Root Epic root method

this may have been covered somewhere, and I have tried to search but couldn't find a forum on xda for the transform. is it possible for the epic root method to work for the transform, I mean they are similar but idk if the inner workings are the same. I'm still kind of a nOOb so I figured I would ask some people who know. thanks for any answers.

....a little below this thread, it's been hit on. I have tried the joeykrim method, and the auto linux install ocr. I hit mine around 10 times, installed superuser, and won't work. I guarantee this method will not work, as I tried using roam manager, and it still says, "You sure your phone is rooted?" So these methods do not work. Sit back and relax, it's been rumored within the next couple weeks.

If you do Joey's adb exploit you will gain perm root....i have not had an issue yet running quickboot, adfree, connectbot, the sdx stock app remover...never used roam manager but i don't roam.
