ok it appears odin versions are device specific.... what used to be the ops file is now called PIT. I'm using odin3 v1.85
Do you need a PIT file to flash the kernel?
Thanks..
EDIT:read that the pit is only needed in severe cases..downloading kies now to test
Edit2: installed kernel no PIT. worked as expected. Thanks!! only issue is scheduler is set to performance...3g works wifi works 4g works...
