I cleared the screen without loosing any lives on Atari VCS 2600 Space Invaders.
Coin op Williams Defender. The developers never envisioned that a high score could even get close to 1 Million, so there was no 7th digit in the counter. I played that thing for hours, racking up points, until the firmware started freaking out around 950,000 points. Everything I shot added an additional life; and when the score rolled the odometer the entire world blew up; the score reset at 0; and all was back to the beginning. People would watch me play in amazement: my high score was 2,260,000 points when, after so many hours of play time and with so many lives racked up, I just walked away and let them play it out.
