Eq Blackberry Tasks Application

Just traded my work phone, a Blackberry Bold, for a new Android Casio Commando. I am struggling to find a suitable replacement for the Blackberry Tasks App, which is a To Do list very well suited for my work related tasks.

As any good advice will be greatly appreciated, I strongly urge only individuals that are specifically familiar with the Blackberry Tasks App, or read carefully my specifications, chime in on a response. Please assume I have already done a rather exhaustive Google Play search of many apps (Remember the Milk, etc

I am overwhelmed with all of the responses here.

So I have been reviewing apps on my own and here are the results I have so far...

ELIMINATED

  • Remember the Milk (D) - too much and full version costs $25/yr
  • GTasks (F) - due date mandatory, cannot set task priority.
  • 2Do: Todo List (F) - too much bs.
  • Platinum Tasks (D) - multiple lists, many features looks useful. optimized for tablets, font too small for phone
  • Out of Milk (F) - literally for grocery shopping. would be an (A) for actual food shopping list
  • Taskos (C) - voice function. by date. does have priority color labels. suspicious permission requirements.
  • Do It Tomorrow (F) - 2 day task list. blah
  • Astrid (D) - might be buggy and cluttered. could be really good but has suspicious permissions requirements.
TESTING

  • noodles (B) - task priority. somewhat promising. no status. no auto sort.

  • List Master (B) - customize columns. color codes. not specifically for tasks, for list making in general. Nice UI

  • creates a folder on sd and does regular db backups, each with their own file by date- I love this feature.

  • ProDo (B) - limited free version, inexpensive pay upgrade.

  • sync with google tasks, can control duplex of sync
  • This would be the winner if I could figure out how to back it up other than google task sync. I cannot find the database. There doesn't seem to be a database backup option.
DEFERRED

  • Any.DO (D) - voice input oriented.
  • Tasks Free (C) - supports multiple lists.
  • Wunderlist (C) - sync with windows. due date not mandatory. cross platform. cloud based
  • Task List (D) - has ads no pay upgrade option (come on guys I am willing to pay to get rid of the ads)

I have located a To Do List / Task List app that I like overall. However, it seems to be missing an absolutely critical feature. There does not seem to be a backup and restore function.

The app is called ProDo (To Do List) formerly known as ToDo Pro by Othelle Soft. It does allow sync with Google, except this doesn't actually do a comprehensive backup due to Google tasks not facilitating all of the fields of data present in ProDo.

The developer web site lacks documentation.

I have emailed the developer .
