Equalizers? Are there any?

I've been wondering if there are any graphics equalizer programs or media players on the market? I'd really like to alter my settings because I prefer a bit stronger bass and treble clarity on my music. Anyone know of any? This seems like a no-brainer for an app.

Tried it out and seems as though the EQ does nothing. The interface is also somewhat confusing. Not the player for me.
