Ereader - specific zoom support

Okay, so I just recently got the Kindle Fire, 90% of my books are in .pdf format and have a huge white square of nothing-ness around them. I haven't been able to find an ereader or .pdf viewer that will save the zoom settings from one page to the next, this makes reading TERRIBLE as I have to re-zoom every page.

Is there an app that could either crop out the blank space, or an app that will save where I zoom, or an app that will convert them to a more useable format?

Using whatever app you use, go into "reader mode". I use Mantano Reader.
