Will both the Droid Eris standard OEM battery and the Touch Pro 2 standard OEM battery work in the Incredible? If anyone has trued using these batteries, please post your results. It seems to be confirmed that the Eris battery works in the Incredible. I heard the TP2 battery is a little bit thicker. Is this a problem? I'm torn between buying either of these two batteries for my Incredible. Which would you buy?

It is confirmed the Eris OEM 1300mah battery works/fits and so does the SEIDO extended 1750mah.

Hi there, both batteries will work on the Incredible. I am using a Droid Eris extended battery in the Incredible and it's working just fine. If I have some extra cash to drop I'd get the touch pro2 OEM battery. Heard that it's amazing at holding a charge according to this guy.

Either way, let us know what you end up getting!

For a difference of $1.50? Go with the 1500:) Oh, and just to confirm...you are buying this as an extra battery, correct? Because the phone comes with a 1300 mah battery, so if you don't plan to ever battery swap the 1300 is pointless, and even the 1500 probably wouldn't be worth it.

Has any one here used the Touch Pro 2 battery yet? Seems like it would help a lot!

I wouldn't say a lot. it's just over 15 percent. So, if you get 24 hours with stock, youre lookin at 27.6 hours. That is better, but a good deal from I would personally call a lot:)

:DLol i guess i got a little out of hand! I agree. But i think that is the battery HTC should have put in this phone in the first place. 1300 mah is a little small.

i ordered my 1500 on thursday off ebay and it should be here today. i'll keep ya'll updated on any difference i see, tho im going to let it "break in" for a few days. I will admit tho that the 1300 that comes with it is getting better now that i've let it got for a few days.
i'll keep ya'll posted

I can't believe people are still asking this lol, but anyways a bit of advice

If you're looking for a battery that lasts longer then the stock 1300 don't buy a cheap TP2 battery off Clist most of them won't last anywhere near as long as the stock 1300, I know from expierence, they're great for the price and as a backup but not for prolonging battery life. Make sure you get an OEM HTC TP2 battery, they work great and probably last almost as long as a Seido 1750 (according to a test that is very objective)

Im wondering the same thing. If we could get some input from those who are using a tp2 battery that would be helpful.

I used a TP2 battery in my Eris and Incredible work fine mine although they look authentic are not and did not get as good as battery life . But when you get 2 batteries and a charger for $13.99 shipped , what do you expect. I bet if you buy an OEM TP2 battery your battery life is goign to be slightly better

okay so the touch pro2 battery will fit into the eris correct? double checking before i buy the two batts. and charger on ebay.

Thanks for the advise everyone! I just ordered the TP2 battery for my Incredible. I'm not getting this as an extended battery, all I wanted was an extra battery that would fit in the same cover, although I won't complain if I get an extra 200 mah. I actually have a defective battery for my Incredible which constantly loses its charge, even when the phone is off. Verizon is sending me a replacement battery for the defective one and I figured, with the amount of people mentioning the battery life, I'd pick up an extra battery which will still work with any future cases. Thanks again!

I'm using my old Touch Pro2 battery and not noticing that great of a difference. I would say to wait for the official 2150 mAh.

But as a spare, I guess it's fine.

I'm using a 1500 battery from a Sprint Hero. It "fit" in the Eris, tight, but it fit. The back cover didn't snap all the way on, but no biggie with a case or shell. Same battery fits in the Inc. perfectly.

Like I said, it's 1500, and I made it through a full day with moderate use(about 3 hrs of phone use), some app updating, a pulled a radar on "Rainy Days". Still had about 50% battery at end of day.

Was about the same drain rate on my Eris... unless I was in a weak signal area...

I've just confirmed (also) that the TP2 batteries work in my Incredible. There's no problem with the form factor or power.

I've also found a workaround for the Verizon hooks into Skype. Tether your cell phone to a netbook or other computer and run Skype from the PC. The Skype binaries for Android is what's redirecting the use of the Verizon minutes. Using Skype from a tethered machine won't use Verizon minutes.
