Help Eris continually redialing automatically

Twice now in the two days I've had the Eris it would start wildly redialing the number I just dialed. Nothing I can do will stop it. If I press the END/STANDBY button (lower right) the screen goes black for an instant and then it starts up again and keeps redialing. The only thing that fixes this is a battery pull and restart, then it's fine again. Anyone else experiencing this?

Sounds to me like a stuck dial key. Return it would be my suggestion.

That something was stuck was my original thought, but noticed when it happens, everything else starts locking up and a complete reboot is all that will fix it. I'll give it a couple more days and if it happens again, I'll return it.
