Root error 18

About a week i downloaded a system update for my galaxy reverb and this update unrooted my phone among other not so disirable additions. so i did a factory reset to see if that would fix my issue it did not so i downloaded the programs needed to root my phone once again and upon pooting i recieved an error 18 message. what is error 18 and how can i fix it?

Poot's not going to root your phone if you installed the Jelly Bean updates. You're going to have to use this method.
