Help Error 38 with Google Play Music & TV after VZW Lollipop update

After updating my Verizon HTC One M8 to Lollipop update on 3/4 , I now get an error 38 trying to play anything in Google Play Movies & TV (streaming or download).

I've done the clear application cache, data, deleted all downloads, restarted the phone etc. but the problem persists. I did notice this in the Android support forums.

Anyone else with this problem? Any solutions ? I have a lot of $$ invested in movies and TV shows.

My bad. yes - play movies. However, There was an update this morning bringing it to V 3.6.16 (on 3/16/15). All seems to work fine again now.
 
As long as Play Music still works, I am good. I depend on Play Music at work as we cannot stream over the WiFi and I cannot afford a 50+ GB data plan!

I have been using Play Music without issue since the update. I have also used Play Movies and TV on my M8 without issue, but did receive this error on my laptop last night. I am wondering if this isn't a server issue on Google's part....

Anyway, I like the update and still can listen to all my music at work. Therefore, no complaints here.
