Help Error 9230 on just one contact

Hello All,

So i have had the Moment (on Sprint) for a while now, and there is one problem i can't seem to fix. The phone seems to constantly drop the area code off of ALMOST all messages I recieve from just one specific contact. So when I go to reply to that person, i get a 9230 error (not using a ten digit number) and i have to go to my contacts screen and choose to send a new message from there. Anyone have any ideas to fix? I have tried clearing the cache and using a different SMS software, all with the same problem.

I think I would try deleting that contact from the phone, make sure it deletes from google contacts, and re add it through google contacts.

Just a thought

Yeah, tried that before and tried again, no good. This is such an odd error, you would think that samsung and/or google would have some kind of fix for it. if you search on the error you certainly get enough hits on it.

9230 Fix. First, you must update your phone. Second, delete all texting history from phone. Third, edit all contacts with 10 digit phone number. Fouth, remove battery for 2 mins. Fifth, reinstall battery and let phone reboot. This should fix your texting issues.

There has got to be more. All my messages are deleted, every number has always been put in as 10 digits, battery has been out 3 minutes, phone rebooted. Same error.

Got to be more. Sprint? Beginning to regret dropping AT&T. Been getting strange behaviour on phone after beginning that stupid voicemail to text trial (which there seems to be no way to remove).
