what phone do you have? when do you see this? in your file manager? or is it in the koodo app? do you have an sd card? how is it formatted? internal or portable?

Moto E4. I see it appear automatically at any time doing anything a minute or two after the phone has booted up. I have an SD card that I haven't formatted. It works right out of the box. I don't know what you mean by internal or portable. All SD cards are portable.

That error message refers to some kind of problem with a file that resides in a folder within external storage. Assuming the file in question is in your microSD card, try using your file manager app, scroll down to External storage, open it and see if you can see anything out of sorts. Post another screen cap of that window if you think it might help.

you can format the card as internal on most devices with low internal storage capacities.
