Apps Error after saving svg file

Get error "URI is not registered"(Settings| Languages and Frameworks| Schemas and DTDs) .
Trying to save to res/raw, svg.jar was added to apps lib.

I've run into this a few times. You can try adding .PNG to the file. Be sure to select "All Files" when saving as type. Only that option lets you add an alternative extension.

You can give XnShell a try. I have it installed and I simply right click the .svg file and convert to image.
