Help Error after update

I got this phone for my son. It has worked flawlessly since we got it 4 months ago. He updated it last week snd now shows unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped. Has any body else has this problem. I've tried factory reset and wipe the cach in the factory recovery. Unfortunately we haven't installed the custom recovery yet.

Welp, there's no root or custom recovery for the newer updates so you're SOL there.
Other than that, I have read of users reporting an all around more unstable experience with the newer updates also.
You've already done what I would recommend to start with. If I were you I would consider contacting ZTE or T-Mobile directly.

get on g+ and message ZTE USA
