Error Message Samsang S4

[Android Question]

I have a Samsung S4 and for the last week i keep getting an error message saying "Unfortunately, Battery has stopped" i touch the OK button and the system keeps working. is there a problem with my phone or is it Android. did get an update, my Model number is GT-I0505, android version is 4.3 the phone is unlocked but running on T-mobile.

Since the battery itself evidently didn't stop (if you've invented a way to run a cellphone without a battery, let's talk), it's some piece of firmware or software named Battery. Whether it's the update or not wouldn't even be a guess at this point.
