Help Error pop up

Keep getting a pop up that says "Unfortunately %1s, Tab %2$d of %3d has stopped." I can only OK or report. What is this and how do I stop it?

This error message comes up every few minutes, very frustrating,

Restart the phone.... hopefully that will fix the problem.

if it persists, do an FDR so it comes back up in pristine, OEM condition.
then the problem will be gone.

It is a samsung tab4 10.1. If I do a FDR won't I loose everything on it?

Yes. An FDR will delete everything
