Error while installing app from Third Party Source

I have a problem installing 3rd party apk on my phone. At the installation screen that lists the app's permissions, when I tap the "Install" button, it is unresponsive sometimes. And the view turns weird, as can be seen in the attached screenshot. It does not even light up orange. The "Cancel" button works fine though. Can someone please help me with this? P.S. Installing from Play Store works just fine.

Hi priyank1205, and welcome to Android Forums :)

From the screenshot, it looks like you have an application functioning as an overlay to filter out blue from your phone's display? Android has a built-in security feature that prevents applications from being installed while such an overlay is active - this prevents a malicious app's overlay from automatically installing additional malicious apps.

Disable the application with the overlay and I bet the Install button will work. :)

Thanks Codesplice for letting me know this technical detail of Android. Clearly shows that you are an expert in your field. And Yes, I infact had Bluelight Filter installed. Removed it. Thanks once again !

I don't know about being an expert, but yours is an issue that I've run into a few times in the past. :D

BTW, I'm currently using CF.lumen to provide a warmer display temperature at night (probably similar to what you're doing with Bluelight Filter). CF.lumen is able to automatically suspend itself at the Install Application dialog to avoid this problem. You may want to try that out.
