Es File Explorer accidental delete

I just deleted my media files in addition to several directories right under /mnt. I didn't realize that I had accidentally run my finger over the select all option using ES File Explorer. I believe some files should still be recoverable since the storage settings show that still exist on my SD card ready to be deleted permanently. I saw that an app exists in the android market but it requires rooting which I'm not familiar with. Please help!?

Hello and welcome aboard. I'm not rooted, so if I need to find, edit, or move stuff on my sd card...I use astro file manager.
