ES File Explorer: Using "SD Card Analyst" mode on /data

ES File Explorer is great and I keep finding features I didn't notice before. One is its "SD Card Analyst" tool, which provides a list of directories and files sorted by disk usage. Unfortunately it seems to only work on the SD card. ES File Explorer supports root access in general but I can't figure out how to make that function work outside of the SD card.

There are plenty of apps out there that do the same job but my Virgin Mobile Venture has precious little memory so I prefer not to install additional apps...and I've tried a bunch but none of them shows me the data the way I want and lets me navigate it the way I want; ES File Explorer does.

Does anyone know for sure if I'm just doing it wrong or if the app really doesn't do that?

Already did that, but I can't find a way to specify that ES should show me disk usage info for /data.

It really does seem most likely that they didn't include the ability, hence why they called that command "SD Card Analyst" instead of something like "Disk Usage Analyst".
