Esteem updated to ZVG

my ZVD rooted esteem was updated to the ZVG version. Now is un-rooted.

carrier= metropcs- miami florida
android version= 2.3.4
kernel version= 2.6.35.7-perf lg-electronics@LGEARDND3U3 #1
sw version = MS910ZVG
hw version= rev.1.0

It updated yesterday.

Have you tried the ZVC root method to see if it works on ZVG?

this is odd. lg update doesnthave zvg and youwould think they create the updates. have you tried updating on lgtools and see what they say

If that thing you called a update is zvg sort of but . The phone stayed zve

See it did something fishy to me it took a while it said it wasn't up to date then a pop up said it was a update . And to update i needed to get the update recovery . I did that saw zve and rerooted again . Lg also has some new device called a LG-LH2300 :screwy::what: what the hell is this i ask . Now my boy from the corporate store said that it may seen the phone rooted and just gave you anything as a update .

thats odd. to comment on lte comment. it seems to be area problems. south florida i have problem but in tampa 4g all day long.

and lg tools hasnt mentioned so that seems to be uniique to me still. thinking if metro gets it, that it would have to come from lg as a software request which they normaly do but oh well

Doubt they would jump from e to g (never jumped a letter yet) and the only people that have gotten it both joined to say they had it (no other posts) but can't say much anything else about it.. Metro or lg don't know about it.. If i'm wrong I'll apologize just saying don't focus too much energy on finding it..

Agreed...I am now updating an Esteem I bought off of EBay and lastest version is ZVE. Locking her up
