ETF assistance

My friends have 2 smartphones with T-Mobile. They want to switch to Verizon, but have 10 months left on one of their phones, with a $200 ETF. Has anyone heard of Verizon helping with the fee to get someone to switch? I have heard of some carriers doing it in the past.

You can always ask. Try a couple different stores, as it will most likely be management approval, so depending who you get, they may be more open to the idea.

Remember Amazon has an extra ETF they charge ($250 I think) if you cancel the line in the first 6 months...

From what I have read (this is all online mind you) verizon will NOT do anything to help out on ETFs.

I have heard sprint will, but not verizon.

Yeah, when I did the ETF on my AT&T iPhone to move to Verizon, all Verizon was able to help with was waiving the activation fees. Still was totally worth it though, lol!
