I am considering a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 (but I think this question is general so posting it here). I am in the UK, and it isn't sold with NFC here.
However, Amazon.de in Germany has it with NFC and I could buy it there. My question is - is Android sometimes 'tied' to a specific country, or should I be able to run it on English (UK) straight away?
Am I likely to run into any other problems purchasing a phone from a (slightly) different region?

P.S. I don't know what I will do with NFC, but I think I want it just because!
