Help Ever heard of this?

I was browsing the internet (Facebook) and noticed the letter "G" normally where the EV or 1X is. Wow did I have speed. Now after a few short hours it's back to EV. What in the world was that. I want the "G" back.

Yep, me too. I posted over on Sprint.com and XDA-developers and I'm still looking for the answer because I achieved 1.1-1.2mb download speeds when the G was there as compared to only 600-800mb download speeds when EvDo is shown in the status bar. Seems the XDA folks don't give a hoot either, or maybe their just stumped.
