Hi
I done a factory reset, which went fine, everything came back!!
But every hour on the dot a horrible noise comes out of the phone,
How do I get rid of it please!!

Is your phone root-ed?
What do you mean by "everything came back" after the Factory Data Reset?

Not root ed did not come back on its own, I had to download contact s etc emails, and apps

You could try dunning in Safe Mode disabling all apps you added without uninstalling them. If it stops it is caused by an app that you added.

Sorry Thom, I'm not that tech savvy, Will take back to Tesco where I got it from

Turning on Safe Mode is really easy if you want to try it before returning:

Hold down the power button until the menu pops up, then press and hold the Power Off option on your screen. It will ask if you want to reboot in Safe Mode.

Then in Safe Mode test to see if you're still having the problem.

Hi Kate,
Went into safe mode 7 pm last night, no noise all night, went back into mormal mode 8am noise went off at 9 am!!

So one of the apps you added is causing the problem. Find out which one and remove it.

Went into Tesco mobile and the guy found that there was a app for a clock
that had a tick box for alarm on every hour and unticked it!!! problem sorted
