Every https page on new phone coming up unsecure

I just got a new phone and have been trying to order things on it from secure websites, but they are all coming up with little unlocked lock icons with question marks. It is scaring me. Is it already compromised? If not, what is it? And is there a fix?

What browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser?

https depends on consistency in date/time. If there is noconsistency (see what I did there? ) between the time on the certificate and the time on your phone your connection could do that. Phones use cell signals for time so it's highly unlikely, but in the event of some sort of malfunction I imagine it could have date/time incorrect. Check that.
