Everything causes my phone to wring

Megmarjen

Lurker
A few weeks ago my phone started ringing everytime I get a notification from an app (ex draw something) my ringtone notification goes off. Facebook is the only one that doesnt i have it set as vibrate only. They used to not cause the phone to ring. I havent been able to find a setting to turn them off. My sister and grandma both have the phone and theirs do not do this. My daughter plays with my phone a lot, so thinking she changed a setting, but I can not find it. Anyone else having this issue and do you know how to fix it?

Sounds like maybe she somehow got into the apps themselves and turned the notifications on. You should check the settings for the apps causing the phone to ring. Or you can go into your sound settings and turn your notifications off, but you might miss something from another app you want to hear from if you do that.

Actually, it sounds like the Notification tone and the Ringtone got set to the same sound. Look in Settings-Sounds Phone Ringtone and Notification Sound, I am guessing they got set to the same sound.
