Help EVO 4G to SGS2 SD card question

hey guys, thanks in advance for reading.

going from EVO to SGS2, curious to know if i can use my SDcard from the evo? or do i have to get a new sd card entirely? i have to admit while i know a decent amount about these phones, i'm fairly ignorant in dealing with SD cards.

i have already copied all the files from my EVO to my computer, but i didn't find a formatting option for my sd card on my EVO. does anyone have experience moving around SD cards are they as simple as plugging in from one phone to another? does it need to be formatted specifically for samsung? if so, i assume i'll lose the ability to use my EVO as a back?

may just be easier to buy a new SD card??

As long as it's still micro SD it will work just fine, no format necessary. I came from the same phone and everything works just fine. The only issue (if any) that may arise is some file types may not work on the Epic 4G Touch.

It worked for me - I took my 8GB card out of my dead EVO (busted screen) and popped it into my Epic 4G and it works just fine.
