Hello all ! Been reading the posts on here for a day or so now. Have had my Evo 4G since december now and back in 2006-2008 had the HTC 8500 I think it was called it was the smart phone with tuch screen and slid out keyboard loved it. Had no problem hacking that one and changed it from windows 5 to 6. My evo I want to root but am very leary as I never bricked a phone but I worked for apple for a bit nd ATT prior and seen 100's of Iphones that were bricked. On here you all make it look so simple. I hate the junk they piled on my phone after update to 2.2 . Manly I want flicker off my phone badly that place is such a scam. I had a friend named John that died back in 2009 he had tried to get me to join flicker and i looked at it and decided I didnt trust it. To this day I get emails from flicker saying hay your friend John misses you and wants you to join him on Flicker. I never used Flicker but every day my running apps say it running i force stop it and its back next morning. So Root it is.
