Help EVO gone CRAZY!!! HELP!!!

Help, my EVO has gone crazy. Random APPS have disappear, phone log, and contacts GONE! Photo's still visible from phone....had this happened to anyone or can any one help me? Do I just do a factory reset? Problem is my laptop died and it had my back up on it.

Try a battery pull first. If that doesnt work, a hard reset should definitely clear things up.
