I need more than 16GB and don't want an S3. I'm currently an iPhone jailbreaker so I'm comfortable with flashing ROMs, etc. First Droid device though. If I buy the EVO outright (from Best Buy?) how hard would it be to get it to run on AT&T. Would I just need to root it, unlock it, and then move the SIM card over from my iPhone? I assume I could make a backup of the stock device setup so I could return it without any problem?

Ugh. Found a blog post confirming Spring is CDMA and AT&T is GSM so not possible I assume. Back to the drawing board.
