So, I have a Droid Incredible, and my dad just got the Evo 3D, and before he had the Evo, so I was wondering if I could put the Evo he had, on Verizon Wireless. I believe that use the same 3g and I don't care about 4g. Can anyone help me?

they operate on the same cdma bands. But they won't vzw won't activate a sprint phone on their network. Most reps will tell you its not possible, which it really is, but they just won't.

Could I just do the activate over the phone. The computerized over the phone thing?

You would need to flash it over to VZW and I do not think VZW allows you to use flashed phones like that. You may be able to flash it to Cricket, who pays for coverage via VZW.

To try you would need the MEID of the phone, enter it online before trying the OTA activation, then trying that but getting the phone to call VZW OTA may be difficult.

OK here Is the situation. My friend has an evo 4g with a bad esn number..now what he wants to do is flash the evo over to cricket. I read somewhere u can flash the evo over to cricket is that right? And what about the bad esn? Hopefully someone can give me some suggestions and point me in the right dirrection

the 2 carriers .. sprint and verizon.. do use the same tech.. that is why your can force the evo to roam on verizon... that is allowed through sprint and roaming contract with verizon.

verizon will never add an outside phone ESN on their network. they will never activate it.
