Today I decided that I might return my EVO because I can't use it to its potential and I still irritated about having to pay for 4G and not have it available. Also, I can't use the hotspot because Sprint will charge me.
Ok, all this is my own damned fault, I'm a knucklehead--I know. But I was hit with the additional $10 charge while purchasing the phone, I didn't know about it so I paid it thinking that I'll be able to get out of it later, like I usually do. Not this time. The hotspot thing as well.
Well, I can't get Sprint to rescind the charge and before my 30 days runs out, I have to decide if I'm going to return it and exchange it for a Samsung Moment. The guy at the store thinks I'm nuts because he has a waiting list of clients wanting EVOs.
But it's the principle of the thing. I don't want to pay for something I can't use. It's like paying for a loaded Corvette and driving it around town at 35mph--pointless, I'd take it to the desert and open it up!
What would you do?
p.s. wife says that the goodies in the EVO are worth the extra charge.
