Okay Before I Tell You My Problem I Want to Say i Have Dropped My Phone In The Toilet But this Was MONTHSSSSS AGO And My Phone Worked PERFECTLY After Drying...

Okay Now To The Problem, Randomly Out Of The Effin Blue My Phone Touch Screen Stop Working When I Slide My Phone Up And Usually I Have To Take The Battery Out And Restart The Phone And It Will Work But NOOOOOO Now I Restart My Phone Over And Over And Over And Over And Wait HOURS For My Touch Screen To Work Again And I Have To Be EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA Careful That My Phone Does Not Slide Up Or The Painful Process Will Happen Again...

PLEASE HELP THIS NOOB!!!!!!!!!

Moving to the EVO Shift forum.

Unless the phone was dried completely (it can take a minimum of 2 days placed in a box of rice in a warm cupboard), there may well have been a small amount of damage that's just got worse and worse over time.

How long was the handset dried for?

i dried it for an hour and some change in front of a heater
 
Sounds like you will have a new phone soon :)

Whenever a drop of water has been inside a gadget, there is a risk of weird behavior developing over time. You may have heard of flood cars? They too go a while, then start doing weird things, and then they die.

To protect your new phone from similar risks, I would recommend wearing a so called rugged case.
