EVO V or iPhone 4s?????

So now I'm Wondering who is leaving the triumph for one of these 2 phones. Also price drop $5 on all plans. What you guys think of this? I just feel out phone will now be left out and forgotten.

The price is a big factor. Not really ready to pay $400 or $ 600 for the phone. I still think I overpaid for the Triumph back in the days, but at least I'm keeping my $25 plan. So, unless my Triumph burst into flames I'm sticking with it.
All three phones MT, 4S and EVO are 1 year old. Of course we can argue about processors, speeds and glitches, but none of the phones are perfect.

well if i was to be leaving the triumph it would be for the evo v mainly because it android but its 300 dollars cheaper. the iphone 4s will be 600+ and the iphone 4 is 550. and the 5 dollar price drop is only for the iphone not the evo.

Bought the Evo V and love it. Would not want an iPhone. You can do so much more on an Android vs the iPhone too. Just my opinion. iPhone 4 is $549.99 and iPhone 4s will be $649.99... Too much for me for a phone that can't do as much as what I have already.

Well isn't that messed up so you can only get the 5 dollars off your plan if you have an iPhone 4s and auto pay with a credit card. So because I just spent over 300 on the Evo and auto pay im not eligible. That sucks!

yea thats ridiculous I think we should get the same discount

Its still nice to see VMUSA finally getting true "high end" devices ....now we wont have to hear/see people complain about how VMCanada has better phones and what not...I'm glad those threads died out

Don't forget they're on prepaid so of course they're going to cost more.

Aye, I know. :) I still won't pay more than 199 for a phone. When phones begin costing more than what I use to pay for renting a home, that's where I draw the line. I suppose if I lived on my phone and completely depended on it as my soul source of communication, then perhaps Id consider a higher price.

I'm happy and feel that ever dollar I spent on this Evo was worth it.
I haven't even modified the phone at all because it's doing so beautifully stock.

I'd never get an iPhone. It's just not my cup of tea.

3D images and video, decent 4G speeds in my area, very comprehensive processor and a nice crisp clear display... I'm in love. =3

As an apple fan, I still purchased the Evo 4G this week. The difference in cost is too high. I would've considered the iPhone if it was the next gen phone. :)

+1

The iPhone, while kinda nice, doesn't have the versatility or flexibility of the Android system, and the Evo V with ICS makes it even better. The only bad part was the hassle of getting the new Evo V activated and old number ported to it. This is my 3rd day with the new Evo V and I finally have it the way I want it to be. I have a 3500mAh extended battery on the way to give me the extended service time I need.

Hopefully, VM's network won't let me down....I really don't want to have to go back to Verizon ;-(

Personally, I think I'm going iPhone. I obsessed over the EVO until I learned about the iPhone. I've got an iTouch, and I spend more time on it than my Android. Personally, I'm not one to mod my technology (I've got no idea what I'm doing and after effing up my windows computer trying to make it into a Hackintosh, I've given up) so the user-friendly atmosphere of an iPhone is a-o-k by me. I do like Android, but I kinda hate mine, and I really don't like the way ICS seems to work. I do love the customization available with HTC phones, but I'm an Apple girl at heart and truly, I'm the demographic they're selling this phone to - middle-class teenagers with jobs and problems, aha.
Honestly, the only reason I wouldn't get the iPhone would be if my parents forbade me from spending such an obscene amount of money on something so small (and for the next 7 months, they still control me.)

No to anything apple, especially a iPhone, which you MUST install iTunes on a PC to setup the phone (unless that's changed in the last couple years)

i honestly think the only thing calling me towards the iphone is their amazing camera, ive always wanted an iphone but settled with android (even though ive grown to love android). The price sucks though, if VM releases an android phone with an 8mp camera, i'd go with that all the way

neither, until the 4g reaches my area.

but frankly, I am leaning toward the iPhone. I love Android, but I love my iPad just as much if not more.

It was fun tinkering with Android in the beginning (well, okay, it still is fun) but there is something to be said for buying something that doesn't require tinkering with.

Actually, it has. You no longer even need a computer to have an iPhone. It sets itself up from itself. It's all part of iOS5.

Don't feel too bad, those iPhone users will have to stay on auto pay for 4-6 years to match the $250-350 you saved purchasing an Evo instead of an iPhone! :D
