Help EVO V screen problem

Newbie
Ok i was here some months ago while having trouble with the MMS problem and thanks to you guys i was able to fix my problem..

So some days ago i decided i wanted to put a ROM on my phone, but i knew since i had a more complex phone then my old phone the triumph, i knew it be alot harder for modding. I did the research, searched the terminology, found vids and threads on what to do before i made to decision to go through with the process..

I was doing the complete noobies guide and even watching a vid on how to do it, and following the instructions SO CAREFULLY, until i reached the unlocking of the HTC DEV. that where it messed up it said it couldnt find a adb reboot bootloader

so i tried it again i didnt work, so i stopped the process, but the the command prompt on my screen wouldnt go away. its at the top of my screen and when i swipe some lines appear. Idk what happened so im seeking help from you awesome experts here.

what do i do, do i factory reset? everything works completely as far as know but the screen is just messed up a bit.

You have something checked in the developer options. Give me a sec to figure out which something.

EDIT: Settings > Developer Options > uncheck "Pointer Location"

well you gotta have android sdk downloaded and extracted in the write place to do the adb reboot bootloader

in the video he extracted the sdk folder to an sdk folder he made in the C drive, i did the same along with putting the recovery file in the sdk folder.

Well run cmd as administrator then type CD C:/sdk-tools it should go to another like and say sdk-tools/ then from there type adb reboot bootloader

i tried it again, it still didnt work, rather then making a sdk-tool folder for the extract, should i try just extracting it to the c drive?
