Droid PRO- Exchange Server

How often does MS Activesync push out new contacts? Is that done right away when they are added or does the system handle those big syncs on a off peak or slower time shedule?

I believe there are some settings controlled by the Exchange Server when pushing to the Phone, not sure about the other direction.
