Had a question with scheduling my activesync. If I don't get a lot of work emails is it better for battery life to set it to sync every 10 minutes or as items arrive?

That is totally up to you. If you are worried about battery life then set an interval. If you already have good battery life then set it as they arrive.

The longer the interval the better the battery life. It doesn't matter how many emails you get. The battery gets drained each time it goes to check.
