Exchange e-mail notification does not clear after reading e-mail in outlook

Hello All:

I receive an outlook exchange e-mail - and the e-mail notification properly displays. If I read the e-mail on my PC via Outlook, the notification remains. But, when I open the e-mail app, the message does show as read.

The issue is only with exchange. I also have gmail - which works exactly as it should. The notification clears if you read the e-mail on a PC.

I've seen a few posts about this on various sites, but no answers.

Would love to get an answer for this as well- I have my phone next to me at work & would love to be able to clear the notification on my phone by reading the email on my PC without having to wake the phone.

it depend how often your phones syncs with the server

you can have it sync every 5 mons if you really wanted to
