Help Exchange GAL - Phone Numbers

Can anyone explain how to be able to look up phone numbers on the global directory of a corporate account (exchange server)? I have my email, outlook contacts, and calendar sync'ing but I am having troubles figuring out why I can't look up co-workers' numbers on the global directory. GAL?

If this is already discussed, please point me in the right direction. From what I can tell, past droid users have used apps like 'Touchdown' and 'Corporate addressbook' to do this. Is this my only option or am I missing something?

this feature was a big help when i used it on my DInc. But i believe it was a feature of HTC SENSE. I couldn't find it either on the default ICS mail/contacts apps. I've been using Touchdown which has a GAL search option and it works great.
