I rooted my Exhibit 4G yesterday using Zerg Rush and all seems to be running fine. I installed ES File Manager too and it seems to work ok.
I was notified that "SU binary is outdated" and to tap to update. I tried to update the "binary" although I do not know what that is in reference to. The file ran and it never completed saying that it worked, so I forced it to exit the update. Now when I try to update again, it gets to "copying SU to /system.. FAIL" and stops and displays the "Try again" button on the bottom of the screen but it will not work when I try again.
First: what is the binary? Do I need to have it updated and if so, how do I correct what is going on?
In start-up manager: I have disabled several apps that come with the phone but they appear as running apps even though each shows up as disabled. Also, I have an app running for email that will show up as a disabled app in start-up manager by itself and I have to keep enabling it.
Any suggestions?
