Help exit apps

To close apps, since most don't have exit buttons to tap, is using the home button to leave then use task manager to exit/close it the way to go?

With most apps, just pressing the Home button will exit them. Some, however, such as those that run in the background when they are closed, will require an Exit command to be used. This is found by pressing the Menu button. One I use a lot that requires this is the Radio.com app.

Right, if you're in a game app or poker app, you have to back up sometimes 4-5 times to get out, not like hitting the menu button will give you a exit function.

Thanks for the reply's.

Most apps you don't need to worry about exiting. Pressing the home button is enough. If they are running in the background they will be automatically killed if the system needs the memory.
