Root Expanding internal memory of rooted htc desire running cyanogen 7

Hello everyone my name is michael and I havel a htc desire I recently rooted everything works fine and perfect but the 1 thing I noticed was that you only get 150 megabytes of internal memory now I'm the kind of person that constantly downloading apps so 150 megabytes is quite small. I have already installed an app that allows me to move my apps to my sd but not entirely. So I did a bit of research and found that I can upgrade my internal memory buy partioning. And That's Where all my research luck run out. If it's not too much of a problem can you please help.

Not meaning to sound like a stupid idiot but I have no idea where to even begin to look for that. I'm such a noob it hurts but I am trying. So please be patient with me and if you can describe or link me to your suggestions
