Explorer For Android?

Hello all, Is there an app for Internet Explorer that will work on my HTC EVO? I have a certain program that will not load unless it recognizes IE Thanks

There is no IE for Android (or anything like it that I know of). What exactly is it that you're trying to load? It might very well be something that can't run on Android, period. If you just need to have the browser identify itself as a desktop browser, that can be done pretty easily.

I really don't know. Maybe that would be the answer: For the browser to identify itself as a desktop browser. How can you do that?

In the browser Menu->More->Settings-> Uncheck Mobile view. If that doesn't work, you can actually change the UAString by typing about:debug in the address bar, then going back to settings. At the bottom, you will see settings under the "Debug" heading. Click the dropdown for UAString and select Desktop. You can also look up the different strings specifically used for IE and manually enter a string.

But like I said, not everything works in the android browser even if you can fool a website into thinking you're using IE (it might need plugins, etc.)
