ext sd card

I will be inserting a 64 g sd card in a 10.1 2014..... what steps do I go thru to insure that what can go to the ext sd card will actually go to that card??
 
What goes on the card is what you want to go on the card, so what you do is put things on the card. Your question isn't clear.
 
What you put on the card is there and what you do not put there is not there. These cards aree used for storage so if I were you I would keep media on it and keep apps on internal memory. A very simple, yet good solution.
 
I think the OP may be referring to app data (like camera, browser, etc). Most allow you to point to the directory you want within its settings. But others (like Lecture Notes) require you to know the path. In this case, you have to state /storage/extSdCard/'folder name'. So dependent on how the app behaves.
 
I am asking what "stock" data or info I can redirect to ext sd card... lile CAMERA that I had to redirect pictures to ext card on my phone..... are there any other app data that I need to redirect on a new device??? I do know I cant move the apps.. but what data can I set up to be stored on ext sd card???
