Sorry if this has been brought up already but I haven't been able to find an answer for this. Since the ICS update it seems that the only time I can get 3g\4g is when I'm in my local service area. Whenever I'm in an extened network area I basically get nothing. I've messed around with the new settings and currently the preferred network type is set to global and the global data roaming is enabled. I tried toggling to the other settings allowed under those two but still no connection. I have also done a factory data reset as well (same result before and after). Anybody know how to fix this?
After all that I decided to switch my preferred network to the lte/whatever option and while going outside for a walk (still no mobile network) rebooted and voila now I have data. WTF. Anywho I hope no one takes too much time reading this.
