extended battery now available for the indulge

Please don't forget. WE, are the community for this phone. For the time being we are all there is. So please don't forget that there are a lot of people out there not as smart or technologically minded as us who may think our phones "issues" are insurmountable. I know that we know they aren't, so thats why for now it has to be our job when we find a fix (i.e. better battery) to do our best to get the word out.

Battery life is very nearly the biggest problem with this device, and if some scrub aftermarket company has solved it for us, lets make sure we make a thread about it.

As you receive em please post your reviews, as I will with mine. If it lives up to even half it's promise it could solve a lot of issues with this phones up time.

Thanks guys and remember there is nothing we can't figure out on this phone as long as we communicate.


***P.S. I ordered the ebay battery and it looks like a lot of you did as well. For parity sake did anyone order the batterybay, laz818's spaz love child, one?

Glad to have another properly-minded person around. I thought everybody from Boston were supposed to be, what are they called, "Mass-holes"? :eek: Apparently not however. :)

first off all we can't call apple crap since you know they let third party take charge if their phone has any issues. Batteries is one thing they let third party in control. Mophy etc etc. But us android users we get the shaft from some companies: samsung and moto and delays,no updates etc etc. open with no support sucks.


PS the Rays suck!!! :-P
 
I just ordered 2 batteries and covers from Amazon. It's the 3600mah type. It looks exactly like the ones sold on Ebay.

I emailed the seller and asked them this question:

"HI. I just bought 2 of these extended batteries + 2 extended lids, Will these batteries charge up inside the phone with the stock Samsung wall charger to full 3600mah capacity? I heard that the Galaxy Indulge is very picky on batteries supported. I want to make sure the phone doesnt say the battery is not supported while trying to charge it using the stock samsung wall charger while it is isntalled in the phone. I hope I dont need some extra external charger to have to charge this battery."


The seller replied:

"Dear customer,

Thanks for your question. Yes, you may use your original wall charger to charge this battery with your phone.

Thank you
Bestmatch"

It's going to take a bit to get to me... and it needs to be charged for 10 hours before use once I get it.

Will see how it goes.
 
Ordered battery&cover from Battery Bay on June 22 and it arrived today..in San Jose Bay Area. Looks to be the right battery and cover so after the initial charge I'll post and give a review,how long it lasts etc. How long should the initial charge be..did I see 10 hours somewhere? Thanks!!
 
I just got mine and it had an 80% charge on it ben using out for about an hourand only down 10% so far the only complaint is that my divine case won't fit now with the new cover and out about doubles the phones weight but for 15 bucks was worth it
 
Got an email from them this morning, and just sent them a pic of what they sent...bummer is, I was hoping to have it for my trip to Orlando ...oh well, it should be here when I get back
 
One of my friend got on satuday and Im waiting for mine today. His battery last the all day using LTE
Facebookk, pandora and others things. He didn't charged it completely
Just how it comes 80% charged

Got the ebay one today..ordered on 6/28..came with back cover and universal battery charger(which is charging my battery bay now)..

Charging the ebay battery in the phone right now..this one seems lighter than the battery bay..will charge it through the night and see how it rolls tomorrow..
