Help Extended battery running away with GB

I would give it a few days to settle in. There is an updated kernel and updated radios within the update. I know for a fact when you change kernels your battery life will be diminshed for a few days, radios are the same way. Once they have their cache built back up you should notice a improvment to battery life.
 
Hope so. I could get 40+ hours off it before. Sadly my wife isnt able to get the update. Says no new software. I read in another forum a rep told a guy they pulled the update. Wonder how true that is
 
No clue how true that is. They knew the update had bugs before release (VM notifications) so I doubt they would pull it.

You were right, battery is better than before.cache has rebuilt itself.60% left and going on 15 hours. Niiiiiiiice!
 
I thought I would be ;) With the better radios in the GB update you should have less battery use by the radio combined with the memory management improvements within GB you should get better battery life on GB than Froyo. Glad you are begining to see some of that.
 
Still working on mine to see how it turns out. Im at 34hrs right now and still have 45%. Last I recalled the last time I got it down to 30% was right around 40hours. I want to kill it dead and let it charge up from 0 and see if it amazes me lol.
 
Battery life pre-GB for us was horrible, post-GB it is amazing. Sorry you guys are having a problem.
 
Still not dead yet. 49.5 hours and still have 11%. Seems it got down to 30% faster than before but who knows that coulda just been use. I do however think its pretty funny its still kicking. LOL
 
Hit 51hrs and some change before it died. Taking forever to charge. Been charging for about 5 hours and still not done and thats with the phone off lol.
