The only battery you can get that does better than the OEM battery is one that is not slim, but extends out from behind the case (with a new cover).

Reason being, there is a limit to the amount of energy density you're gonna get with any given physical size cell, and... the OEM battery is already there.

Any magic batteries you see across the web, are simply not doing what you think. They "may" achieve the mAh rating, but its done through extremely slow discharge of the battery in order to skew the test results. At actual milliamp drains encountered by using the battery with your phone, at best you'll get the same as the OEM battery. At worse, the battery itself is inferior (not unlikely), and will not even give you the OEM performance.

There is a company (or two) out there that make thick batteries, with new rear covers, that do fairly well. Those are about twice as thick as the OEM battery.

Keep in mind, the charger built into the phone is made to work with the capacity that the OEM battery has, so.... it won't charge as you expect, and neither will the readout of percentage be totally accurate.

And if you did see any improvement with a slim battery it will be most likely be due to your OEM battery being faulty or worn out from regular use
