extended battery & wireless charging?

One can use any charging method with any capacity battery, but the larger the battery, or the lower the output of the charger, the longer it's going to put a given percentage of charge into the battery. You can charge a 10,000mA battery with a USB 2.0 cord (100mA) - if you're willing to wait about 130 hours for a full charge.

can one use a wireless charging card with a 4500mAh battery, and extended back?

It should work but you'll have to find a way to extend the contacts on the wireless charging receiver because the extra battery thickness will prevent them from making contact with the terminals in the phone. Another thing to consider is that it takes around 4.5 hours to charge the stock battery wirelessly, an extended battery is going to take a really really long time to fully charge.

I love my wireless chargers so if you do figure out a way to make the contacts reach and everything post back. I wouldn't mind trying it myself.

You could go this route:

Type A Micro USB Qi Wireless Universal Charger Pad Receiver Coil for Smartphone | eBay

Just ensure you get the right style (TYPE A or B).
I've had a few of these & they do indeed work, however,I recommend the following:

1) Find one with 750 mA output.Anything less tends to charge too slow, creating more heat than during normal charging, which in turn, slows the charging cycle down even more, eventually just creating a high temp situation. While probably not dangerous, but, will likely kill your battery in a short amount of time & put undue stress on the internals.

2) Once installed, keep it that way. This style of coil/pad/tag is quite fragile. Not the coil body, but, the cable/wire itself, being extremely thin,is not gonna hold up to too many twists/bangs/pulls/folds/etc...

It looks like someone would come up with a dongle to charge you could plug in to your usb plug on the outside. Like the one that plugs in to the big usb plug on the computer to connect your wireless mouse and keyboard. That way you wouldn't have to give up your usb port for data sync or sending pics to you pc, or faster charging.
