Accessories Extended battery

I'm not sure about that particular brand but I've heard that the MOTO extended battery that's 1800 mah is better than the aftermarket batteries that are 3000-3500 mah.

I wouldn't go that far.

It really depends on the individual manufacturers. Seidio, for instance, typically overrates their batteries by 20%. That means a 3000 mAh battery is probably only a 2400 mAh battery when coming from them.

The Moto battery is 1900 mAh, so buying a 3000 mAh Seidio battery will give you a boost, but not as much as you'd think. The specs say you'll be getting a ~57% boost, but reality probably will be closer to ~26%. So, is it worth the tradeoff for the large size/square edged cover/weight/cost? You be the judge.

In this case we don't have metrics from this company on how close their ratings are. It's awfully big, though.

If it were me, I'd pay the extra money and buy two of the Motorola 1900 mAh batteries. That way I'm getting guaranteed battery quality, and my phone doesn't feel like a brick.

Aftermarket batteries are junk. The overrate by as much as 60%. The Moto extended is the best bang for your buck and has the closest accurate rating.

I bought the BH6X which is the MOTO 1900 mAh battery and I can't believe they wouldn't just ditch the stock battery and use the 1900 mAh one. I unplug my phone every morning at 7AM, use it moderately throughout the day, (I am not always streaming data mind you) and by the end of the day which is usually around 11 or 1130 PM I plug it back in and I usually have between 70 & 80% life.

The MOTO BH6X is a good deal I think and it really adds no bulk to the phone other than the fact that the extended battery cover (100% necessary to prevent phone damage) sticks out MAYBE 2 millimeters at the most!

I agree 100%. I wish ALL CASE makers would simply put the 2mm hump into their design.
